Introduction to my blog

Hello there friends! I wanted to get a blog started to help others who have gone through the same frustrations as I have in dealing with issues surrounding my kids. I learned this year that I have a passion for preserving and maintaining parental rights. I hope by starting this blog, that I will be able to help other parents who deal with their schools and school districts understand their rights as parents so they will have fewer frustrations.

Let me start by telling you that I have an 11 year old son that was diagnosed with ADHD. This issue alone is frustrating to deal with as a parent. But when you have to deal with the school and their lack of knowledge and/or empathy it escalates to EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! Then there is the ongoing problem of schools wanting to introduce curriculum and values into the educational system that may contradict your own personal and family values. How do you deal with that? What are your rights? I will be introducing my experiences and solutions to these questions as well.

I want this to be a place to get information that is beneficial for parents/caregivers of children who struggle to keep public education system in check and accountable to you for the care of your children. Please join me in sharing your experiences and what you have learned. You never know, it could help someone else out dramatically!
